TURNING OFF THIS READ RECEIPT FEATURE ON FACEBOOK, CAN WE?

When you know someone have read your message and they don't respond back, how would you feel? Of course, you're gonna be like "whatever". So you won't want your friends to feel that they're being ignored too, right? But sometimes, you don't really want to get back to them for some reasons.

Facebook have this "Last Seen" indicator (see screenshot above), where people are able to determine if their message has been read. This may be helpful for some, but this feature can be plain annoying as well since people wants their privacy.

Unfortunately, this "Last Seen" label cannot be disabled (as of July 2013).

But You Can Use A Google Chrome Extension..

However, you can use an extension on your Google Chrome that's called FB unseen and your friends will no longer be able to see if you read their message. Take note though, this won't turn off the label when you use your mobile devices.

go to settings
